Breakaway pipeline driver. I have been modding for four years already. This includes extending the features of the original M&B games by adding a lot of new content - or improving gameplay, and this all mostly done by myself! This takes a lot of effort and time in learning how to model, to texture and to write complex scripts. ![]() Sep 4, 2014 - Author Topic: Nova Aetas (Read 1903 times). 0 Members and 1 Guest are viewing this topic. Jump to: => Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord. My intentions are to offer a pleasant and durable feeling of the game. Even after the release of a modification I stay updating & bringing out new content. I keep reading feedback, suggestions, bug reports and even watch community videos. Especially the testing side of developing a mod can last long and be aggravating. But seeing the joyful feedback of you does encourage my enthusiasm to continue developing. Making profit has never been my goal. I never ask to be paid for my work and services. Though I give you the option to freely donate a sum of money as a token of appreciation for all time and effort put in offering you a free, pleasant and durable game. ![]() I just started Nova Aetas yesterday after watching Reformist's series on it. Fantastic mod so far, but I'm having an issue with constantly picking up negative traits for seemingly no reason. I've only picked up three traits so far, and they've all been negative (Ugly, Faithless, Coward). Isa reporting manual. I can't figure out why I picked these up. I've kept plenty of money on me (based on advice from another thread here), I'm a blacksmiths apprentice at Curaw, I'm pagan Nord and have prayed at the temple almost ever in-game day as well as buying a few pagan piety bonus items. I've also never retreated or surrendered from a battle, so I'm not sure what proc'd the Faithless and Coward traits. Anyone with more experience with Nova Aetas know how the trait mechanics work? Traits gained randomly roll based on the morale bonus of your food variety. The check is: [(Morale from food) - 70] / 10 A positive number is the chance to gain a positive trait, the negative number is the chance to gain a negative trait. Basically, the start of your game should be to get enough money to buy the best non-perishable foods you find or you will be punished. Beverages (wine, rum, water, etc.) do count toward the bonus. I don't think duplicate foods count, even if of different qualities (e.g. Well-made Butter vs. Just Butter), but I may be wrong.
